Products

LibKey Discovery provides you with one-click access to full-text articles in certain resources covered by the product.  Reducing the number of clicks it takes to get to an article through Sofia will provide you with quicker and easier access.
In Sofia, you can see "View the PDF" for some electronic article sources.

In Sofia, when you are in the item's record, you will now notice that some article sources now have a "Browse Related Articles" option. From there you will be able to select if you want to view other articles from the same issue of the journal your article can be found in. You can also select if you would like to see recent articles from that journal.

LibKey.io will allow you to quickly search using a DOI or PMID. After conducting an initial search using a DOI or PMID, you will be asked to select your organization. From the drop-down menu, select Bishop's University.

After confirming Bishop's University as your organization, you will be taken to a screen that tells you if the source is available at Bishop's University.  It will also provide you with a link to download the full-text PDF of that source or a link to the article itself.

BrowZine helps you organize periodicals by creating virtual shelves. A BrowZine account can be linked to your iOS or Android device. You can save and read articles on or offline. In BrowZine, you can find scientific articles and periodicals subscribed to by Bishop's University all in one location.
You must create an account to use BrowZine.
To sign up, click on the gear on the top right-hand side of the screen.

After clicking on the gear, you will come to a page where you can login to your account or create your account. If you want to create an account click "Login".

After clicking "Login", you will come to a page where you can click "Sign Up". From that page, you will be able to create your BrowZine account.

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that will allow you to easily identify if full-text access of sources you are seeing online are available through Bishop's University. This extension works in browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Brave or Vivaldi. With the extension, when you visit publishers' websites, databases, or Wikipedia pages, etc. LibKey Nomad will add various access buttons on your screen. These buttons will offer you a direct link to the full text of the article, the PDF, or the full number in BrowZine.
