This guide is to help Champlain students and faculty access and use the resources available to them at the Bishop's Library Learning Commons (LLC) and other off-campus institutions.
Bookings are limited to a maximum of 3 hours per day, per group.
Time slots may be reserved 4 weeks in advance.
Champlain students, faculty and staff are welcome to book study rooms.
For any exceptions or special requests, please speak with someone at the Library Services Desk.
Study rooms are not soundproof. We encourage group study and collaboration, but please be mindful that loud conversations, music, videos etc., can be heard outside of the rooms.
Champlain students cannot log on to the computers connected to the TV monitors, but are able to plug in their own personal laptops to use the screens in Study Rooms 020, 021, 204-234, 239. For assistance with using the screens please see the ITS help desk located on the main floor of the LLC (beside the Library Service Desk).
Anyone found to be abusing the system or using it unfairly may have their bookings cancelled, and repeat offenders may be banned from using the booking system.
