Always note the Call Number to each title. Music DVDs are found under M and film adaptations of musicals are found in the PN 1997 section (subarranged alphabetically by title).

Find Sound Recordings

Use a Sofia to find streaming audio and citations to CDs or go directly to the Naxos Music Library for streaming audio (available on or off campus); for more online sound recordings see the Suggested Websites tab above.

To find CDs in Sofia's Advanced Search follow these 2 steps:

1. Using Sofia's Advanced Search, under the drop-down menu for Format choose Sound recordings.

2. Enter search terms.

Note this will retrieve CDs and LPs.

To limit to CDs, combine the words Compact Disc with your search. For example, search terms "Mozart" and "Compact disc", will list all of our Mozart recordings on CD. Note the Call Number to find CDs in the drawers located on the second floor.

There is a CD player in the basement.
